CLOTHING DELIVERY SERVICE WEBSITE + MOBILE APP
•BRANDING •CREATIVE STRATEGY •COPYWRITING •VISUAL DESIGN
A self-initiated branding project and design proposal that tackles the last great frontier of the modern delivery service: apparel.
Who is this for exactly? The style-conscious urban dweller that’s in a hurry. They’re up on the latest fashion trends —often living by the 52-season fashion model of retail giants like H&M— but value speed and accessibility over the in-store shopping experience. They’re comfortable shopping from their phones and are already avid users of systems like Grub Hub and Uber; they’re excited by the idea of being early adopters to modern service offerings that give them access to anything they need in a flash.
This project investigated what user needs, from the basics of the service offering to must-have features of the interface, would have to be met to successfully launch an initial desktop and mobile site of the world’s first on-demand clothing delivery service.
Competitive Analysis
A selection of competitors were investigated as a baseline for the web presence for Haberdash. I analyzed things like mobile apps and web presence standards including usability, color palettes, and brand tone of voice.
Respondent Interviews
Ten interviews were conducted with potential users of Haberdash to understand a few key things: 1. What about the clothing buying process don’t they like and how could a mobile interface make that better? 2. What key features would need to exist in order to make the mobile shopping/delivery experience enjoyable?
